PPC Management

I think by visiting our website you have come to the realization that getting millions of sales by using social media is very very slim. Especially when you aren’t putting your hand into your pocket and spending some cash. The same goes for getting your website on Page 1 of Google’s search results. Many Northern Irish businesses were lured to the prospect of just having a Facebook page to promote their business and if they just put up content they would sell. Didn’t quite work like that for most. But it’s OK, everyone needs a little bit of help from time to time.

What is Paid Advertising (PPC)?

Pay Per Click advertising covers any paid adverts that you see online, the most popular being Google Adverts and Facebook adverts. So instead of trying to win traffic organically, by getting your content ranked high in Google’s search which can be expensive and time consuming with no guarantees, you are able to pay for your link to be displayed. This is paid advertising. You pay for each click on your advert.

This includes search engine marketing, display advertising etc., and happens on basically any search or social media platform that you are on. It even happens on online stores like Amazon and eBay where you can pay to promote your products above your competitors.

Why use it?

To get your website appearing naturally at the top of search engines such as Google etc. it takes a lot of effort, time, content and clicks! If you decide to open a website selling Nike shoes, don’t expect to get anywhere near page 1 on Google. Big brands would have spent years etc. and a lot of money to reach this prized spot on Google. This is what people would call the ‘organic’ listings on Google. But, if you are new and just starting out you can use Google Ads to get ahead of your established competitors. These are the search results with the ‘Ad’ in bold next to them.

To reach these spots you need to be outbidding your competition on keywords (Keywords: someone types in ‘red Nike shoes’ that would be the keywords) and have relevant content on your website to match the keywords that people are showing for. That’s it oversimplified but you get the picture.

How can we help?

If you have a website and are looking to get more people to visit your website, we can help by using paid advertising. We can help set up advertising campaigns from scratch on the most suitable platforms for your business and stick to an agreed budget. We can write the copy (the words to grab people’s attention), do the design of any display adverts (we’re pretty good at that) and carry out your keyword research to find the best and most popular search terms for your business and products that people are looking for. You will always get monthly performance reports and it will always be made clear where and what your money is being spent on.
